A Different View

I wonder what people really think when they see these pictures of Earth from space and hear the comments made by those who have been out there and have seen it first hand.

I think we need help with how to think about it and how to assimilate the implications and significance of what we have been shown.

It is a view that may seem familiar now, but I don’t think schools give students the opportunity to talk about what it means about their beliefs, values and ideas they may hold. And I don’t think those out of school talk about it either. I think we don’t know how to really think about it so we don’t.
