Find your “Other” — Sit down together

by Libby & Len Traubman

Sit down together.

Whether hate is from childhood teachings, ignorance of not knowing each other, or historic tragedies, we can still love the hate out of each other.

The greatest act of love and healing will come from sitting face-to-face and listening to learn the equal humanity of each other. Realizing that “ an enemy is one whose story we have not heard.”

Bring hate to consciousness.
by: John

"Who wants to talk about hate?" People avoid it, and therefore do not bring it to consciousness. But, per your word "ignorance," what we ignore will likely not get better on its own.

Bringing hate to consciousness is one of our most urgent tasks.

If we saw hate with new eyes, even the tragedy in Las Vegas could be a learning opportunity for all humanity.
