How do we get the instinct for MORE, MORE AND MORE out of our culture? We have enough. Somewhere we picked up an "either/or" mindset, and it has obscured our ability to see that, for me to gain, you have to lose.

While greed is ugly, it is really just a symptom of something even deeper - alienation. When people feel separate, then they also feel insecure. Out of this disconnected place, greed is a compensation for the lack of a sense of self as an integrated whole.
